There has been a tremendous amount of media coverage of the letter our museum just released. Dozens of top scientists are calling on museums of science and natural history to cut all ties to the fossil fuel industry. This has blown open a timely and important conversation about ethics, philanthropy, and the fossil fuel divestment movement. Below is a running list of press articles that we will continue to update.
If you support this call, please consider making a donation so we can keep the momentum going–we have big plans coming up. We are an independent museum that doesn’t take contributions from the fossil fuel industry or big polluters. We rely on contributions from people like you.
