* The scientist letter and this petition were initiated by The Natural History Museum, nonpartisan nonprofit traveling museum that collaborates with scientists, major public museums, educators, artists and community groups. In 2015, The Natural History Museum initiated a scientist letter and petition signed by more than 550,000 people urging the American Museum of Natural History to kick climate denial funder David Koch off its board. He stepped down a few months later. Now it’s time to do the same with Mercer.
